Segeyaro could be heading to Belmore

James Segeyaro has emerged as the solution to Canterbury’s dummy-half problem.

Coming off the bench for Cronulla, Segeyaro has been second-fiddle behind young gun Jayden Brailey.

The former Dally M Hooker of the year is off-contract, and the Bulldogs shape as the next home for the 27-year old.

The Bulldogs are looking to release Michael Lichaa, to free up cap space for Segeyaro to arrive at Belmore.

Segeyaro will add a new dimension to Canterbury’s attack, he has been impressive, with Cronulla looking like a different team every time he has come on.

Corey Oates had been offered an incredibly generous offer by the Bulldogs, with reports suggesting that he had rejected the deal.

The club are still active on the player market.
