James Segeyaro has emerged as the solution to Canterbury’s dummy-half problem.
Coming off the bench for Cronulla, Segeyaro has been second-fiddle behind young gun Jayden Brailey.
The former Dally M Hooker of the year is off-contract, and the Bulldogs shape as the next home for the 27-year old.
The Bulldogs are looking to release Michael Lichaa, to free up cap space for Segeyaro to arrive at Belmore.
Segeyaro will add a new dimension to Canterbury’s attack, he has been impressive, with Cronulla looking like a different team every time he has come on.
Corey Oates had been offered an incredibly generous offer by the Bulldogs, with reports suggesting that he had rejected the deal.
